Pencil Pleat

Pinch Pleat

Eyelet

Every fabric we work with falls into one of three categories. Most rooms benefit from a combination, typically a sheer for daytime softness, layered with something heavier for the evening.
Sheer
Lets natural light flow through while keeping daytime privacy from outside. The right choice for living rooms, dining areas, and any space you’ve designed around light.
Dim-out
Filters strong daylight and softens glare without fully blocking it. A practical and beautiful middle ground for dining rooms, studies and home offices.
Blackout
Blocks light completely. Essential for bedrooms, children’s rooms and anyone who needs proper darkness to sleep. It also improves thermal comfort, keeping rooms warmer in winter and cooler in the long Cypriot summer.

Studio Yiannakou has been the go-to curtain shop in Limassol since 1984. Our showroom in Athalassas Avenue, Nicosia brings the same made-to-measure service and full fabric collection to the capital.
Both showrooms are open during regular business hours and welcome walk-in visitors. No appointment necessary, though we’re always happy to set one aside if you’d prefer dedicated time with one of our team.

Yes. We visit homes and projects across the island, including Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos, Larnaca and Famagusta, to take measurements and complete the installation.
For bedrooms we usually recommend a pencil pleat or wavy heading in a blackout fabric, or a layered combination of a sheer and a blackout. The blackout improves sleep and keeps the room cooler in summer. The sheer gives you privacy during the day without losing the light.
Yes, and we’d encourage it. Our showrooms carry the full fabric collection and our team will take the time to help you find exactly what works for your room. Colours and textures always look different depending on the light, so seeing them in person makes all the difference.
